Definitive Proof: The Real News Is Fake News (Includes Original Song Lyrics)

I’ll allow the talking heads in the chilling video below to speak for themselves before commenting.

Here’s my comment, in the form of song lyrics I wrote a couple years ago. The song is called “Turn to the Mirror” and the words go like this:

If you can’t see
What’s goin’ on
I can’t see it for you

If you can see
What’s goin’ on
Know that I adore you

How many times
Must things happen this way
Before you turn to the mirror
Face yourself and say

If you can’t see
What’s goin’ on
I can’t see it for you

If you can see
What’s goin’ on
Know that I adore you

How many times
Must people lie this way
Before you turn to the mirror
Face yourself and say

If you can’t see
What’s goin’ on
I can’t see it for you

If you can see
What’s goin’ on
Know that I adore you

How many times
Must hope be blown away
Before you turn to the mirror
Face your shadow and say

If you can’t see
What’s goin’ on
I can’t see it for you

If you can see
What’s goin’s on
Know that I adore you

If you can’t see
What’s goin’ on
Wake up I implore you

If you can see
What’s goin’ on
There’s lots of work now for you
